Follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
Platform safety issues are treated seriously and can skip straight past normal warning-first moderation.
  1. 1.1You must meet Discord's minimum age requirement.
  2. 1.2Do not use self-bots, API exploits, raid tools, nitro snipers, malicious automation, or anything else that abuses Discord.
  3. 1.3Do not organize, encourage, joke about, or assist raids, doxxing, swatting, scams, phishing, malware, IP grabbing, or similar malicious activity.
  4. 1.4Do not dox anyone or share or threaten to share another person's private or identifying information without consent.
  5. 1.5Do not evade Discord enforcement or use alternate accounts to bypass moderation taken against you in this server.

Keep the server safe for work and safe for minors
This server is not a place for sexual content, shock content, or behavior that turns the space unsafe for younger members.
  1. 2.1No explicit sexual content, pornography, nudity, or sexually suggestive media.
  2. 2.2No gore, shock content, or disturbing content intended to disgust, provoke, or upset people.
  3. 2.3Do not direct unwanted, persistent, sexual, or age-inappropriate flirting at other members. Do not use the server primarily for dating or e-dating.
  4. 2.4Do not sexualize minors or joke about sexual activity involving minors.
  5. 2.5Do not send cropped, bait, blurred, "technically not explicit," or otherwise suggestive media meant to imitate NSFW or NSFL content.

Be respectful and do not create drama
You do not need to like everyone, but you do need to stop short of harassment, ragebait, or turning the server into constant conflict.
  1. 3.1Treat members with respect. No harassment, bullying, hate speech, bigotry, or targeted hostility.
  2. 3.2No death threats, threats of violence, encouragement of self-harm, or similar comments, even "as a joke."
  3. 3.3Do not troll, ragebait, provoke arguments, or stir up unnecessary controversy.
  4. 3.4Avoid turning the server into a fight over politics, religion, gender, sexuality, war, or other sensitive topics when it is clearly causing conflict.
  5. 3.5Do not mini-mod. If someone is breaking rules, report it to staff instead of trying to punish them yourself.

Do not spam, flood, or misuse channels
Use channels properly, do not overwhelm chat, and do not try to dodge moderation filters through formatting tricks.
  1. 4.1Use channels for their intended purpose and keep discussions relevant.
  2. 4.2Do not spam messages, reactions, emotes, soundboards, tickets, forum posts, or repeated media.
  3. 4.3Do not flood chat with huge blocks of text, repeated copy-pastes, or disruptive formatting.
  4. 4.4Do not abuse mentions. No mass-pinging, no unnecessary pinging, and no using pings to annoy people.
  5. 4.5Do not bypass automod, blocked words, or other moderation filters by changing spelling, symbols, or formatting.
  6. 4.6Do not post loud, flashing, or otherwise disruptive media meant to overwhelm or irritate people.

Keep profiles, statuses, and identity compliant
Your profile is still part of how you participate in the server, so the same standards apply there too.
  1. 5.1Your username, nickname, bio, pronouns, avatar, banner, status, and other visible profile elements must follow the same rules as the server.
  2. 5.2No impersonation of staff, creators, bots, or other members in a deceptive or disruptive way.
  3. 5.3Do not use your profile, nickname, or status to bypass moderation or continue a conflict after being told to stop.

Respect privacy and consent
Members should not have to worry about being exposed, pressured, or recorded without clear permission.
  1. 6.1Do not post sensitive information that could put you or another member at risk, such as home addresses, phone numbers, schools, workplaces, account credentials, legal documents, or live locations.
  2. 6.2Do not record voice channels, calls, or similar conversations without the clear consent of everyone involved.
  3. 6.3Do not pressure other members to reveal personal details, social media, location, or private conversations.

No unauthorized advertising, alt abuse, or loophole play
Do not use the server as an ad funnel, and do not treat moderation like a puzzle you are trying to outsmart.
  1. 7.1No advertising, self-promotion, unsolicited invite links, referral links, or promo content without permission.
  2. 7.2No DM advertising or using the server to recruit people elsewhere.
  3. 7.3Do not use alternate accounts, nickname changes, or other workarounds to evade mutes, timeouts, bans, or moderation instructions.
  4. 7.4Do not intentionally look for loopholes in the rules or argue that harmful behavior is allowed because it is not listed word-for-word.

Follow reasonable moderator direction and use the proper appeal path
Staff directions still matter, and moderation disputes should go through tickets instead of turning into public drama.
  1. 8.1Moderators may take action when behavior clearly breaks either the wording or the intent of these rules.
  2. 8.2If staff asks you to stop, move, cool down, or change behavior, listen.
  3. 8.3If you disagree with a moderation action, do not turn it into public drama. Open a ticket and appeal it there.
  4. 8.4Repeated low-level disruption may still result in moderation if you continue after warnings or staff direction.

Extra context for how moderation may be applied.
  • Raids, scams, doxxing, malware, explicit sexual content, sexualization of minors, and credible threats may result in immediate removal.
  • Lower-level conduct issues will normally begin with corrective action unless they are severe, repeated, or deliberately evasive.
  • Staff may act more quickly when behavior is severe, repeated, evasive, or obviously malicious.
